Opening my eyes, I could sense at once that something was not right. I stretched making an awkward crack between my neck and suddenly a gust of wind threw itself thick on me like a smothering fog. My skin ran cold. My skin thickened. My brain couldn’t process everything at once.
A beam of light spread my eyes awake. I reached out to see what was surrounding me but my vision was hopeless to know where I was. All I could here was my breath panting intensely like a petrified dog.
Gripping my delicate fingers to the side I thought was heaven, the light gave me a little hope whereas the unknown felt like hell closing on me.
